Page numbers and ely cathedral

The page numbers in the TDB booklet are displayed in different languages. This first observation could be associated to the biblical myth of the Tower of Babel (broken communication between humans), which is a major theme of the album.

Generally speaking, numbers (and arithmetics) can be considered as a universal language. In respect to the above remark, languages "separate" people, whereas numbers "reunite" them.

However, strictly speaking, TDB "page numbers" are not "numbers". They are words designating or spelling a number. So numbers can be considered as "absent",  unless we count the back of the CD case, were the 11 songs are numbered inside the image, on the right side of the Face Heads.

3. Spanish TRES = 4 letters

5. English  FIVE = 4 letters

7. Hindi SATH or SAAT = 4 letters

8. Italian OTTO = 4 letters

11. German / Dutch ELF-ELF = 6 letters

13. Japanese (romanized) JYUSAN = 6 letters

15. Swahili KUMI NA TANO = 10 letters

17. Chinese / Japanese  JYUSHICHI = 9 letters

19. French DIX-NEUF  = 7 letters

21. Hebrew KAPH ALEPH = 2 letters

22. Russian DVADTSAT DVA = 11 letters

Page 8 and 22 are the only two even numbers of the booklet. They really stand aside from the others.

8 + 22 = 30. this is the average number of days of a month.

The "normal numbers" in the page numbering should have included 9 and 23 (9 + 23 = 32)

(Page 1, cover and 24, back cover, are never numbered)

PAGE NUMBERS AND IMAGE CONTENT

Each page number is related to an image in the booklet. So we could infer a relationship between the numbers and the elements represented in the page artwork.

ORIENTATION OF PAGE NUMBERS

The page numbers are positioned in a very special manner on the pages of the booklet.

Pages 8 & 22 are located on the even (left) pages. The page head of page 8 is the only page number tilted at a 45° angle.

Pages 3 & 21 are looking down (South?)

Significance of Numbers 54 and 108

Two very important numbers show up when we total the numbers by row and column.

The sum of the right column amounts to 54. The sum of the bottom line number totals 108.

It is certain that these numbers were intentionally designed into the booklet.

The perfect 1/2 or 2/1 ratio cannot be accidental. Moreover, these are SACRED NUMBERS !

The Division page numbers

The width of the open booklet (240 mm), when multiplied by 108, give the fascinating number of 25920, which is, incidentally, the equivalent of ONE Precessional Year (240 x 108 = 25920 years). Half of a precessional year amounts to 25920 / 2 = 12960 years, a figure easily obtained (54 x 240) in the booklet !

What does it mean?

It means that we're talking about Astronomy, about the measure of Time, and.. The Division Bell!

This, again leads us to the division of the 360° circle.

432 (4 x 108) = The Consecration.
432 x 60 = 216 x 120 = 108 x 240 = 54 x 480 = 27 x 960 = 25920

And 25920 = 72 x 360.
72 + 36 = 90 + 18 = 108.
360 / 108 = 3.3333.
360 / 54 = 6.6666.

First conclusion: The Booklet contains clues to COSMOLOGICAL KNOWLEDGE. This knowledge is strongly related to the DIVISION OF TIME by means of NUMBERS. The Division Bell has to do with MATHEMATICS, ASTRONOMY and GEOGRAPHY.

This means that these numbers must be related to SACRED SITES, such as the PYRAMIDS or STONEHENGE.

The literature that can be found on the Web is just too numerous to be cited here.

But just have a look at MARTIN DOUTRE WEBSITE for a glimpse of the richness of these numbers and the tremendous dimensions they open...

progression codes residing in all the standards of each ancient Mediterranean nation". More >>
